The CAIGE program coordinates the selection, importation, quarantine, dissemination, and evaluation of the imported bread wheat (triticum aestivum), durum wheat (triticum durum) and barley (hordeum vulgare) germplasm and the management of associated data and information. It is a multi-stakeholder initiative with national and international collaborators funded by the Grain and Research Development Corporation (GRDC).

CAIGE TOURS
Every second year CAIGE participants are visiting CIMMYT or ICARDA research centers. They are able to select lines and import them to be tested here in Australia. Around October, CAIGE travels across the country to visit the field trials. Our partners from Mexico and Morocco are joining us. If you are interested to join us, please contact our team.
